Ratoath, Co. Meath breeder Wardie O’Sullivan states “I tried without success a number of expensive creams on a ten year old mare with Mud Fever.  However, when daily roasted flaxseed was added to her diet, it disappeared completely”, October 2013.

Wardie was also the vendor of the highest priced filly at Tattersalls 15/10/2013 who had been raised and sales prepped on Roasted Flaxseed.
The filly, lot 983 out of Invincible Spirit made 200,000 Guineas.
