The Winter Festival in November 2025 at Cavan Equestrian Center was a significant experience for Eve Hedderman of Coolnakilly Equestrian. Competing in the 1m35 Grand Prix with her special Indoctero mare, Minnie was a dream come true for the combination. The talented but highly strung mare has battled glandular ulcers in previous seasons. Diagnosed at UCD Veterinary Hospital & previously managed with costly medication, Eve struggled to get consistency in the talented mares performances in competition & her condition/poor appetite was a constant concern.

Eve's belief in the mares talent fuelled her commitment to researching nutritional supports that were natural but also cost effective. Minnie has benefitted & her attitude in training as well as steadily improving performances over the 2025 season is validation for Eve's efforts. Now, understanding the gut protective value of high quality omega-3 that Minnie receives daily from Belmont Equine Products Champion Roasted Flaxseed, Eve knows it is the 'secret ingredient' to keeping her horse in top condition. The healing omega-3, anti-inflammatory lignans & gut supportive fiber naturally found in Champion Roasted Flaxseed have improved Minnie's appetite but according to Eve, it has also reduced the cost of fuelling the mare for competition. She has gone without the product for a few weeks but seeing the difference in the mare's demeanour, Eve now ensures that Champion Roasted Flaxseed is available at all times.
“You know when she is on it (Champion Roasted Flaxseed). It really makes such a difference to her attitude. She is no longer on costly medication to manage her gut & I swear by Champion Roasted Flaxseed. It keeps her so well” - Eve Hedderman.
Seeing the difference it has made to her own horse, Eve is happy to recommend Champion Roasted Flaxseed to others especially knowing that the 100% pure & natural product makes a real impact on managing joint & skin inflammation (including sweet itch), boosting the immune system & ensuring proper gut function. There is a busy year of show jumping planned for 2026 with more Grand Prix opportunities starting with the Spring Tour!
